How Is Science Used In The Movies.

Science is used in many ways within movies. Sometimes its for the purpose of entertaining like making explosions with chemicals. Other times its used for safety like to figure out how high is too high for someone to fall off a building. Sometimes the science is used to expand the limits of reality, and create unrealistic explosions and disasters on computers. I will tell you more about this in the following paragraphs.

Pyrotechnics are a major part of action movies, without pyrotechnics that giant explosion wouldn't be possible. Pyrotechnics are a large part of movies, as well as science. If you get the wrong mix of chemicals you could blow up the whole set, or do absolutely nothing. Often science is also used for safety purposes within movies such as, deciding what a safe height is for a stunt man to fall, or how much pyrotechnics someone can stand and for how long. Although Pyrotechnics are slowly going extinct, as to make way for a new device of special effects; computer editing and cgi.

Computer generated contents is the newest pioneer in movie making science. It takes a lot of skill and experience to sometimes even comprehend the logic and science behind computer editing. It takes long lines of code and sometimes even custom programs to even produce a single computer generated image.
